Hilton 40th Anniversary
Having transformed this ballroom many, many times, I was honored to be asked to turn the room into a nightclub for the hotel’s 40th anniversary extravaganza, celebrating being the only Hilton in the world to have had one continuous owner for its entire existence. I designed a one-of-a-kind aqua and lime green diamond-shaped dance floor, triangular lighted and mirrored bars, and huge flower towers. The ceiling was a continually moving water pattern in lime and aqua that was broken up only by the ballroom’s three huge crystal chandelier, which were lighted in deep pink for the event. Ten foot lighted fabric towers helped to give the room a bit of added architecture while also framing the dance floor.
